Buffet Host Cashier:
Directly reporting to the Buffet Supervisor, the Cashier/Host greets all guests with a warm smile and welcome.
He/she Receives payment from guests and enters transaction into Micros P.

computer system, escorts guests to their tables, seats all stations in order or rotation to ensure fairness and maximum service to guests coordinates with servers and bussers to assure availability of tables for our guests.
Inspects podium for cleanliness, organization, and par levels of all supplies to be used during the course of the shift.
Role Responsibilities:
Provides friendly, excellent service to all customers entering restaurant while conducting assigned duties according to procedures.
Supplies guests with menus and helps fill guests’ food/beverage orders.
Handles payments from guests, operates cash register and properly settle checks according to procedures and guidelines established by management.
Accounts for assigned cash drawers, all money received and all transactions recorded during shifts.
Records all tips collected from credit cards and comps.
Handles and solves any concerns/questions from customers.
Immediately greets and seats guests with a smile and initiates the execution of the “great service experience”.
Responsible for seating and rotating lines while recognizing and developing rapport with our VIP’s.
Performs “satisfaction checks” when not seating guests.
Oversees duties performed by the Restaurant Service Personnel to ensure fast and efficient turnaround of tables.
Entertains guests and creates a fun-filled environment by circulating throughout public areas of the facility as assigned.
Maintains knowledge of all menu items and other pertinent information regarding the outlet.
Promotes JACK Cleveland Casino and acts in a professional and courteous manner.
Exhibits a positive, outgoing personality.
Performs “station” and “side work” checks, voids checks as directed by policy and assists with administrative duties as assigned.

Must be 21 years of age.
Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Must present a neat and professional appearance.
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of assigned restaurant throughout shift.
Excellent customer service/communication skills
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.
Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior host and cashier experience preferred.
Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction required.
Must be 21 years of age.
