Housing Specialist – Coordinated Intake

Under the direction of the Coordinated Intake Manager and Director of Emergency Housing Services performs a variety of highly responsible, organization and confidential functions and tasks.
Supports department by providing administrative support to grant projects and housing placements such as Housing First, SHP and Shelter plus Care resources with EDEN, the Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) and other housing providers to assist clients with obtaining housing.
Acts as liaison for providers serving those persons deemed to be chronically homeless, EDEN, CMHA and other community partners in the Continuum of Care.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in social service or business administration, or related field and one year related experience.
Previous work experience with project management; experience in a non-profit, health related organization.
Proficiency Microsoft Office, including Excel, a must.
Must have a Valid Ohio Driver’s License with less than 6 points.
This is a non-exempt, union position with a minimum-starting wage $18.
00 per hour.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $18.
