*Salary Range: * $45K-$55K for Full-Time Position
*Job Description:*
The Children’s Grief Camp Coordinator position provides a unique opportunity for mission-driven, ministry-minded individuals to make a meaningful difference in the lives of grieving children by planning and implementing a therapeutic summer bereavement camp program.

Our children’s bereavement camps combine grief education and professional emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities such as field trips, sports and games, and arts and crafts, and provide campers a safe environment to explore their grief, learn essential coping skills, and make friends with peers who are also grieving.
*We are Seeking Individuals with:*
· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Child Life or another related field;
· Competency in Child Development;
· Ability to work effectively with various groups of individuals, including volunteers, campers, and families.
· Passion, creativity, and skill in organizing and overseeing activities and therapeutic interventions
for children ages 6 to 17; and
· Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

*Job Responsibilities:*
The Camp Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of Cornerstone of Hope’s Children’s Grief Camp Programs.
The camp program includes, but not limited to, five-day, day camp program in both Independence and Columbus; and a three-day, weekend overnight camp experience and expanding other camp opportunities.
This includes:
*Collaborating with Marketing for Camp promotion*
* Coordinating scheduling and managing the application process
* Coordinating and conducting Camp Readiness Assessments
* Planning age-appropriate Camp interventions related to grief
* Recruiting/Training/Supervising Camp volunteers
* Planning, overseeing, and supervising Camp experiences
* Overseeing camp logistics, including transportation, accommodations, catering, excursions, etc.
* Provide support to campers and their families, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Create meaningful workshops for grieving youth and their families throughout the year beyond our summer
camp program
* Evaluating Camp outcomes
* Serving as liaison to relevant foundations involved with Camps, including understanding camp
budgets
* Collecting, maintaining, and recording relevant Camp data and statistics
* Engaging in Community outreach to promote the Camp program
*Other Responsibilities*
· Participating in the All-Hands-on-Deck/Lend-Me-a-Hand Policies as outlined in the COH PTO Policy;
