We are seeking 1 energetic and experienced after-school art instructor to join our team! If you’re looking for rewarding, fun part time work that helps students catch up and develop a love of learning, read on! Eager Enrichment provides you with all the supplies, training, and curriculum to help you create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential.
We use top of the line supplies like Prismacolor Markers, Sculpey Clay, Faber-Castell Watercolors and more.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, loves art, and has a passion for teaching!
This is part time, afternoon work.
Classes run in the elementary schools, after school, for one hour, once a day.
If you are looking for more than 3 hours a week, this job is not for you.
Classes begin in February and go through May, with school holidays like Spring Break and Presidents Day off.
We're a high profile, top quality, professional position and prefer folks working on/ with a college degree & 1-2+ years’ experience working with children.
We've have helped place 19 staff into teaching positions at the school!
Locations & Times
We have 1 position open in Avon:
Avon: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 3:30pm and Wednesdays at 2:15pm
Qualifications:
Previous experience teaching is preferred, but not required
Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior art experience is great, but if you just love art, that’s fine!
Must own a Mobile Phone for online scheduling/messaging
Acceptable BCI/FBI background check (done at our expense)
