Responsibilities for Toddler Teacher Plan and deliver lessons designed to facilitate each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development Encourage self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement Ensure that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times Tend to each child’s basic needs by feeding and dressing them Model appropriate behaviors and mediate conflict between students Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents and caregivers on their child’s progress Collaborate with children’s families to ensure a smooth transition from home to the child care setting Qualifications for Toddler Teacher High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year working with children, CDA or currently enrolled in an early childhood program preferred Creative and imaginative activity planning Possess a passion for early childhood development Display compassion, patience and kindness towards all children Able to maintain an overall positive and professional disposition Reliable transportation and attendance Prepared to pass a state mandated background check Benefits for Toddler Teacher Bedford Heights Daycare offers great benefits for all our full-time employees.
