Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Toddler Room Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with toddlers, fostering their development through engaging activities, and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum for toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years old.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where toddlers can explore and learn through play.
Provide individualized attention and support to meet the needs of each child.
Collaborate with parents to support the developmental goals of each child and maintain open communication.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Observe and assess each child's development, progress, and behavior.
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom.
Qualifications:
Prior experience working with toddlers
CDA
Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Previous experience working with toddlers in a preschool setting is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to pass background check and meet state licensing requirements.
