Before Care Para-Professional (Classroom Aide)

Lakewood City schools is seeking a Monday-Friday 2 hours per day (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM) before care Para-Professional position for employment for the 2023-2024 school year.
The position is to assist in the 4 year old preschool program.
Qualified candidate will be assigned to Lakewood City Schools and provide supervision to preschool age students position.
Childcare experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications: 1.
High School Diploma 2.
Minimum of an educational aide certificate required.
Paraprofessional license desired.
3.
Prior experience working in an educational classroom setting, preferably preschool.
4.
Demonstrated aptitude for the tasks involved.
5.
Be courteous, tactful and understanding of young people.
6.
Desire, ability, and patience to assist and work with students with special needs in learning.
7.
Training in First Aid, Communicable disease and CPR All applications must be submitted through Applitrack.
