Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic Hardware Engineering Intern (Paid) to join our New Product Development team onsite at our corporate office and R&D Center in Brooklyn, Ohio.
You will be involved in the exciting and fast paced industry of developing the worlds most advanced gaming systems!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Assist in the electrical design and analysis of electronic circuits and systems to meet technical product requirements
Perform electronic debug, test, characterization and verification of electronic designs, system components or computers; clearly record results and explore deviations
Create modest test assemblies, fixtures, and cables; program microcontrollers to automate testing when needed
Support the Arrow Product Development team with technical design analysis, trade off studies and design reviews
Work with other engineering competencies and suppliers to aid in the development and verification of electronics products; assemble prototypes and systems when needed.
Record, prepare and revise technical documentation and deliver oral reports
Perform other routine engineering duties as assigned
SKILLS, INTERESTS AND QUALITIES
Deep intellectual curiosity with how electronics and mechanical systems function
Problem solver with knowledge of lower level computer programing (C++)
Self-starter, ability to work under minimal supervision and take initiative
Team-oriented; enjoy growing with other team members
Patience and attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Office Products
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required: Enrolled in college and studying Electrical Engineering, EE Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related degree
Background in computer programming
