Title: Customer Care Associate Location: Lansing, Detroit, Cleveland, Indianapolis Position Summary: Everstream is looking for a motivated person to join our Customer Care team! The Customer Care Associate interacts with Everstream customers to provide information in response to inquiries about current products and services and will work to handle and resolve customer concerns.
The position will communicate with customers by telephone and email to provide information about current products and services and will work with customers to obtain details of support that is needed.
The Customer Care Associate contributes to the overall success of the company by responding to customer inquiries, ensuring a timely resolution, and providing the highest level of customer service.
Primary Responsibilities: Assist customers with billing inquiries on the phone and via email.
Make outbound calls in an effort to collect on overdue customer accounts.
Prepare reports on collection activities and progress.
Resolve billing questions resulting from collection efforts that be preventing payment.
Promotes various products and services offered by the company.
Assists customers on how to use products and features.
Develop and maintain customer relationships.
Maintain records of customer interactions.
Send appropriate literature to customers as required.
May perform clerical or administrative duties.
Provide superior customer support to internal and external customers in all interactions.
Assist with questions, complaints, and concerns that customers may have and provide resolutions resulting in a positive outcome and positive customer experience.
Provide customer courtesy follow-up calls.
Appropriately handle and maintain customer proprietary information in accordance with company policy.
Any additional duties requested by manager.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.
3-5 years customer service experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong telephone customer service experience skills Ability to handle difficult customer situations.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent multi-tasking skills.
Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently.
Personal computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of data and networking products/services.
