Part-Time Client Service Associate

A successful, growth-oriented wealth management team affiliated with Stratos Wealth Partners and LPL Financial has an opportunity for a Client Service Associate in its Willoughby, Ohio office.
This is a part-time role working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30am-4:30pm.
This role offers a hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the Willoughby, OH office and 1 day remote.
The team seeks a dynamic and organized individual with 2+ years of high-level client service experience, preferably in the financial services industry, to partner with their advisor and focus on the existing client base to provide exceptional client service.

This person must also demonstrate a genuine understanding of the importance that both new and existing client relationships have on the long-term success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and prepare materials for client meetings and reviews
Keep client management systems up-to-date with client information
Assist with information and documentation requirements for new accounts, transfers, and more
Conduct proactive outreach to clients and advisors on time-sensitive activities (e.
g.
, RMDs)
Manage account activities that are operational in nature such as new account opening, Annuity Order Entry, cash management, transfers, and account maintenance (e.
g.
, periodic distributions, debits)
Monitor daily notifications; communicate to team members regarding the status of open service items
Ensure client pre-meeting, meeting, and post-meeting processes are implemented
Assist with marketing and event planning as needed - this includes but is not limited to:
Coordination of client events and educational seminars
Assisting with social media postings (monthly campaigns, newsletters, and Facebook page management)
Assume ownership of inquiries and requests; communicate with internal departments to ensure clients’ expectations for timely service delivery are met
Educate clients on account services, capabilities, and new technology – eSignature, paperless statements, Account View (client portal), etc.

Requirements:
2+ years’ client service experience (financial services background preferred)
Experience with the LPL Financial ClientWorks platform and Annuity Order Entry (AOE) tool
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM applications
Client-first attitude
Preferences:
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Experience working with Financial Advisors
