What is a Marketing Intern? The Marketing Intern will work to expand and maintain Clark-Reliance’s marketing and sales tools to include CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program, e-commerce, and general sales and marketing support.
What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will be a Junior or Senior that is currently enrolled working toward a Bachelor of Marketing degree.
20-40 hours per week for a 3 month assignment.
Work location is in office at our Strongsville, OH facility.
Duties and Responsibilities Maintain, manage, and assist in the further development and maintenance of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Program, including database management of products and/or industry-specific contacts or markets and targeted promotions.
Manage and enter leads from various sources to CRM system and ensure lead qualification Mine contacts using 3rd party industry database to uncover opportunities and projects by market/industry vertical.
Assist with maintenance and development of website content.
Collect feedback from various internal and external stakeholders to optimize website design.
Maintaining sales literature and web library.
Drive collateral fulfillment process for internal and external users.
Manage and create unique social campaigns to drive engagement and user development with LinkedIn and YouTube.
Email promotion design/creation Post promotion review and analytic report using marketing automation software Support management of Content Calendar Monitor social media analytics and recommend and drive actions for improvement Support additional daily marketing tasks as needed.
Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively.
Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company.
Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education Junior or Senior that is currently enrolled working toward pursuing a Bachelor of Marketing degree.
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.
• Strong organizational, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Ability to handle routine projects and tasks under close supervision.
• Self-motivated during slow times.
Physical and Technical Environment Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment.
• Normal vision and manual dexterity for office duties.
• Normal office environment, constant exposure to various people requesting information, routinely restricted to work station.
