Culligan of Cleveland is searching for our next Commercial Water Treatment Installer.
This position is ideal for someone who has mechanical aptitude and is looking to train for a lifelong career.
This position is responsible for all aspects of commercial service, installation, and repair of Commercial and Industrial equipment and products, in accordance with applicable codes and company policies.
A Commercial Installer must be able to communicate clearly with customers to ensure they are meeting the customer’s needs while representing the company in a professional, positive, helpful, and dependable manner so that the customer’s experience is exceptional.
*Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation in addition to on-the-job training required*

Responsibilities:
Complete installation and repair/service of company equipment in commercial or industrial venues following Company Standard Operating Procedures when applicable.
Provide timely and effective resolution of service issues relating to commercial customers, including but not limited to, equipment repair, installations, re-beds, product deliveries, applications, and others as assigned.
Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
Identifies potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks.
Complete “on call” service needs on holidays and weekends as required.
Locates and marks the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers or levels, and cuts openings
Reviews blueprints, building codes, or specifications to determine work details or procedures.
Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being used, maintained, and properly accounted for
Follows standard procedures and processes, ensures that the company vehicle is properly stocked.
Assist Sales Engineer Representatives with commercial installation and equipment changes.
Accurate and legible completion of all required paperwork, including timesheets, material orders/warranty cards, installation/service work orders, and field orders.
Provide telephone technical support when necessary.
Conduct self in a positive and cooperative manner, and communicate in an open and positive way with both customers and coworkers
Provide assistance and/or training to coworkers and other departments whenever possible to support company-wide goal of exceeding customer’s expectations

Qualifications:
Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various plumbing projects
Must be able to safely operate a commercial Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs on a repetitive basis
Knowledge of tools used in the construction or repair of houses, buildings and other structures.
Working proficiency in basic mathematics and metric and standard measurements
Proficient at reading diagrams and troubleshooting problems with plumbing systems and equipment
Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areas
Ability to thrive and multi-task in an active working environment including but not limited to: bending, twisting, reaching overhead, crawling, working in tight spaces, lifting and pulling (at times over 100 pounds)
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to self-direct activities and manage time to ensure productivity
Ability to thrive and multi-task in an active working environment
Demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service skills.
